Applying At CRHC
Before you Visit...
- Visit the Application Generator page to
download all of the necessary application forms.
- Please note that the first 2 pages of the Housing Application
Form specify all of the additional documents that may be necessary
to be included with your application.
- Only FULLY COMPLETED Application forms will be
processed.
- Gather the completed forms from Step 1 and the documents from
Step 2 then visit the CRHC offices at 10232 - 112 Street NW,
Edmonton, Alberta. The offices are open from 8:30am - 4:00pm,
Monday to Friday. The offices are closed on statutory
holidays.
At the CRHC Offices...
- When you walk in, there will be a reception desk to your left.
Ask the receptionist for a number, then take a seat in the waiting
area.
- The receptionist will call out numbers and desks as they are
able to serve new people. Once your number is called, visit the
desk number that was called.
- Inform the Applications Clerk for which program you are
applying (Community Housing, Direct Rent Supplement, Affordable
Housing, etc.), then present the Clerk with all of the papers you
brought with you, and they will help you complete the application
process.
After you have Applied...
- CRHC will contact you about a week after you have applied,
advising you if you are eligible. If you are eligible you will be
put on a waiting list for that program.
- Be sure that you keep CRHC informed of any changes in
your current contact information and financial situation.
You can fill out the appropriate form and mail, fax, or hand
deliver it to CRHC offices.
- CRHC will contact you when they have a housing unit or subsidy
available for you. Housing units and subsidies are given to
applicants based on need. They are not granted on a first come,
first serve basis. CRHC keeps all eligible applications until they
have been granted a housing unit or subsidy, as long as your
information is kept accurate and up-to-date.

There are many different programs that are run by CRHC. If you
